Pirates attacked a Malaysian-flagged 2,500-tonne oil tanker

Pirates attacked a Malaysian-flagged 2,500-tonne oil tanker in the Malacca Straits, stealing its cargo, according to the Malaysian Navy, reports London's Tanker Operator.
The Oriental Glory was sailing from Singapore to a port in the Malaysian state of Sabah. After siphoning off its cargo, the pirates fled, leaving the 15 crew unharmed, the IMB Piracy Reporting Centre told Reuters. 
This incident was the latest in a series of attacks on small tankers in the Malacca Straits and in the South China Sea with at least seven recorded since April
